This is what cancer looks like in a baby, what high dose steroids and toxic chemotherapy does to them. To my sweet baby boy Remy, you deserve so much better than this. As a mother, all I want is to keep you safe, but I can't do that. I cant change your diagnosis or your treatment options. I can't control how your body reacts to the medicine or how your journey goes. But I can raise awareness for what you & so many other babies are going through. I can advocate for how cruel this disease is, how toxic the treatment options are and how little funding is being allocated to our most vulnerable. Remy is not alone. EVERY DAY 3 children in Australia are diagnosed with cancer. Yet less than 10% of all government funding for cancer research, is allocated to children's cancers, and for a rarer subtype like Remy's, it's non existent. #fightcancer #cancer #babies #savechildren
