It was so good to be back on This Morning today, even though it was a really difficult day. 🥹💔 I have so much respect for everyone who delivered such beautiful tributes to Liam. Dermot - who is always so eloquent, kind, and considered with his choice of words and memories he shares of both Liam and his family. And I thought Sian’s words were so beautiful and heartwarming in the way she talked about grief and her own memories of meeting Liam throughout her years on radio. I found myself hanging onto every single word that she said - I text her immediately after. And Cat and Ben who were such so professional discussing the news when I know how heartbreaking it is for them - for everyone. It’s always so heartbreaking as a parent as you think that could be your child. Or your child’s dad. It’s a tragedy. I have so much respect for the professionals who deliver such sad news because I find it so hard to keep my composure and articulate myself. I didn’t know Liam personally, but I have friends who did. But I know how many people suffer with fame. And as we consume the internet I think it can be easy to forget that behind the fame and the super stardom is a person. And when you feel low and there’s an internet pile on it can be a lot to handle. I know that from my really small insight to fame. I can’t imagine what it must be like to be a global superstar. I know first hand it can be easy to get caught up in the memes and it’s so easy to forget that we’re human with our own insecurities and vulnerabilities. My heart breaks so much for his friends and family - his son - and for everyone who loves him and it’s a stark reminder of how fragile life is and how much we need to radiate love and positivity and be careful with our words. I’m sending love to anyone feeling upset today as I know that when things like this happen it can cause us all to grieve in our own way. Sending love to anyone who needs it today. 🙏❤️
