Martin is wrong on this one. Those of us with a history of cancer are quoted hundreds, sometimes thousands, for travel insurance. Specialist medical cover is not always available.

if your paying like 3 grand for a family holiday for 4 then 20 quid for travel insurance isn't taht much. plus most banks offer travel insurance

Me & the wife have several medical problems but always get travel insurance. It’s £100 for a week or £400 for the year. We don’t rely on a go fund me.

I pay £150 a year for worldwide except USA, 45 days max with 3 health conditions, and would never go without it. last time I checked Europe no health conditions is less than £25 for annual policy

Ended up with a £20k medical bill on holiday. All paid for by the insurer. Business class flights home and additional nights in hotel as well. You don’t need it until you do…

There’s no excuse for not getting travel insurance these day, literally spent an hour on the internet comparing best prices, I do it the moment we book the holiday, book holiday, pay the deposit, get insurance. Sorted.

Dont know where he got £7 for insurance from. Any quotes I made were £20-30 for healthy person. The problem starts if you have pre existing condition. It can jump to £200 for 7 days away trip...
