I actually have a theory about this myself. An add on to what you're saying, the older generation of women are teaching their daughters how to improve/be better. They're teaching them to get educated, have a career while still teaching them how to maintain a home. The older generation of men is teaching the boys nothing because as you said they had it so good, why improve? So while women are improving and evolving the men are staying in the same place. Why would women who have a full career, their own mortgage and life want a man who goes to work and comes home wanting a meal from her lol?

There are some men out there that are good men already, and some that are waking up to the fact that we women want a man that’s going to contribute 50% in a relationship and they’re willing to make that commitment.
