@plant2wellness: Tomatoes are now gold in Nigerian market, it's so expensive that only few can afford them. I understand but the replacement should not be at the detriment of our health. Too much consumption of all these chemical additives has their side effects, so they shouldn't be taken daily. The worst part is that some people have replaced fresh tomatoes with tomato paste thinking they are the same. There's nothing wrong with making your own tomato paste when tomatoes are cheaper, you can store them and use when they become expensive. Use tomato paste with caution and don't forget that fresh tomatoes has its special benefits and most of these nutrients are lost during the process of making tomato paste.
