Mind you, as someone who’s one step away from living in the same condition as them. Let’s localize the blame and make it more precise about why many of our fellow Filipino citizens are encased in this situation: government corruption. That’s the only root of this cause— let me repeat— that’s one of the root of this cause as someone who’s faced the same reality as them before. Education system isn’t funded enough. Who controls education? Governments. So for me, those who are on the top should be held accountable. That’s why I’m still pondering, why are we not mad enough? Why are we tolerating their greedy control?
