Most of the people listening to this sort of advice in Abuja usually have problems renewing their rent. You have to be realistic with your finance and scale up when your finance improves. The first rent is quite easy, bear in mind that there will be increment after 2 years.

I feel it's just your mindset, I'm currently living in a poor neighborhood but I don't plan to be here forever, which is why I'm big on investments, I save more to invest, I have friends in big neighborhood that don't think this way, environment is not just where u stay it's the people you interact with and I have friends who read books and we share insight on building wealth together for a greater future, don't move just yet if you don't have everything planned cause you suffer and it will stress you financially, plan first before you, wealth is mindset

The reality of this is that, “the cheapest” house in a rich environment can still be outside your tax bracket. Your environment doesn’t necessarily mean just where you live but also a function of where you go, what and whom you interact with. You can rent the cheapest house and still constantly feel inadequate. Wealth is primarily a function of MINDSET first.
