@itsanakati12: I have done a big chop at least 3 times in my life but I’d find myself go back to relaxer when my hair gets too much to handle. But this time, there is no going back, ever!! But let’s be real, 4c is not easy at all. Especially mine! I think my hair would win the Guinness world record for the most stubborn hair type. It gets easily matted if not careful, shrink like nobody’s business, gets super dry and to make matters worst, I am super, super tender headed. Not even kidding. I am the only one who knows how to deal with my hair, which is why I keep my hair routine very simple. My hair doesn’t like much. Only a handful of products actually works for me. This is the growth progress from my last big chop (4th one🙈) in April 2024 to today. And by the way, I’ve cut and trim my hair at least 3 - 4 times in that timeframe. I think it’s done well, don’t you think?
