Avon and Somerset Police reported that Bee was labelled as "very dangerous" after he was found with the victim in both a hotel room and a caravan in January 2025. Bee's conduct was determined to be exploitative and persistent during the investigation. The schoolgirl was initially discovered in Bee's hotel room by the officers; however, they discovered her once more in a caravan with him just one week later. The prosecution alleged that Bee had been stalking the child and had even violated bail to maintain contact by engaging in dangerous driving.
