@lauralucy72: Www.lauralucy.co.uk for 1:1 guidance Many people don’t realise that treatments such as TACE (transarterial chemoembolisation), microwave ablation and cryoablation are all recognised cancer treatments and are available in the UK. However, access can be limited depending on factors such as NHS eligibility criteria, local availability, funding and whether a patient’s case meets specific treatment pathways. For some people with liver, lung or certain other metastases, seeking treatment abroad can provide faster access or additional options. Professor Vogl in Frankfurt has extensive experience using TACE, microwave ablation and cryoablation to treat a wide range of primary and metastatic cancers, and for some patients this can open up treatment possibilities that may not be readily available at home. Always explore all of your options, ask questions, and remember that getting a second opinion is your right.#TACE #mwa #fyp #stage4cancer #foryoupage

It’s disgusting that all the available treatments aren’t offered. This country needs to wake up.

TACE cán be effective, but not always...
im wondering why you never ever tell about the bad outcomes for patients who underwent TACE?
Your results are personal, it's doesn't mean it wil be the same for others.
And I know for sure that you know about the poor people im talking about.
Like always...inform vulnerable people properly; there are good and bad outcomes...

Mine is stage 4 but not in any organs. Peritoneal, lymph and subcutanous. Will TACE fix that?

The frustrating thing we are finding is that the UK doctors won’t do ablation or cryoablation for lung metastases without chemo first! I just don’t understand it 🤷♀️
