Magic: double ristretto shot, and 3/4 milk. Not an expresso, means it has less caffeine but more taste of coffee. Lazy coffee shops will do expresso shots and 3/4 milk. A ristretto shot is a shorter extraction of the expresso bean, expresso makes 30-40ml while ristretto does 15-25ml.

Magic is where they stop the machine at 19 seconds when making the espresso shot. Instead of the usual approx 26 seconds. Called the ‘magic ratio’ of milk with expresso , it’s the timing of the expresso shot that makes all the difference in the strength of the coffee . That’s what I learnt as a barista, soy magic is my favourite coffee actually

Pretty sure she has no clue!!! The Magic ratio is elite: Double ristretto shot + steamed milk in a 150ml (5oz) cup. Because a ristretto is pulled short, you get all the intense sweetness and body without the bitter finish of a standard flat white. It’s perfect. 🤌

Hey, just so you know: 1. Chadstone is Melbournes busiest mall, highpoint isn’t much at all…. 2. Obviously coffee is subjective but iv tried that and it’s not good at all in my opinion.
