I quit my job today because I requested today off last week due to childcare issues was told no because the manager and other staff member decided they wanted today off for the match. So instead I went in with my toddler cried and handed my notice in this worlds not built for working mums or stay at home mums

THIS!!! I own an agency and 4/5 of my team have children. School pick up? No worries. Appointments? Your kids always come first. Pregnant? IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU. We love every stage of our team. We’re also fully remote. Why? Because I wish I had that when I was growing my family. I have some of the best performing women. My thoughts as to why?Because they’re mums 😊

I’m so glad we can collectively recognise it’s literally just a football match. That’s it. They’ll have another one in another season, they’ll do this shit again in another 4 years. It’s genuinely not that big of a deal. Genuinely just football.

Those workplace double standards are so frustrating 😤 and I was tired of feeling judged for being a mom honestly daily. I beg you to read Eat Like a Woman Protocol written by Loren Green because it taught me about whole body wellbeing for handling stress now truly. Lost 27lbs and I handle the workplace challenges with so much more calm honestly daily. This book is a lifesaver really))

I had a job interview not long ago & one of the questions I asked was how well do they support working parents. Their answer was not straightforward and beat around the bush. I didn’t take the job :)
