@lou_downunder: I mean tbf I’m only 11 weeks postpartum but wondering how long we say we’re ‘postpartum’ for 😂🤭 #postpartum #newmum #postpartumjourney #postpartumlife #firsttimemum
I’m 4 months pp and still use the “I’ve just had a baby” excuse for everything. 😳

You’re postpartum as long as you’re breastfeeding! And 2 years until your body’s hormones go back to normal.

As long as I have eczema, a weak pelvic floor, and middle of the night wake ups because of breastfeeding, I’m postpartum lol

My baby turns 3 this month and I JUST stopped feeling postpartum. It’s different for everyone’s body and their choices. Some immediately bottle feed, crib sleep, and have bodies that return to feeling normal quickly. But I cosleep, still breastfeed, and my hormones are still trying to stabilize so still have horrible eczema. So yeah, it’ll continually feel like you’re getting you back, but you never go back to who you were. I think postpartum is as long as your body is still recovering from pregnancy and childbirth, which takes forever.

I’d say six months after giving birth. That’s how long my post partum depression lasted anyway

Id also say about 12 months. Surely at least 9 months, just as long as they were in. Some symptoms of post partum can take as long as 3+ months to hit so it depends on the person tbh
