Could you imagine if Alberta kept $30B from equalization payments every year to Ottawa? An Independent AB could have the best health care ever. My wife is a ER doc in YYC.

I was holidaying in Slovakia. My wife had heart problems in an Uber. The Uber driver called the hospital while he diverted to the hospital. We had doctors standing outside the hospital waiting for us. When we arrived. Our trip was less than five minutes. She was being looked at while transported to a room. She had x-rays and all kinds of tests in less than 15 minutes. This was a government hospital not a private one. The skill level was astounding and the reaction time was incredible being from out of town. It cost us five euros.
