@icelatte289: I told Abu I’m going back to KL again after my last day of work in my hometown. I was just sitting on the sofa telling him, and he came over and stayed beside me for a while like this. I’ve raised him since 2019. He was just a tiny baby back then. His mom was too sick to take care of him, so I had to wake up every few hours just to feed him. I think we really grew up together. From me being jobless back then to finally working in KL, I still come back home just to see him. Every time I leave, it hits a little harder now. He doesn’t understand my words, but somehow, he always knows. Maybe it’s just me, but knowing he’s getting older too… makes saying goodbye even harder.
