I feel like in the end this would be more expensive, and takes even more labor

you know, typically I would get on here and give some advice, and for this one I probably would have said something about going back over that trim with all of the Brad nail holes with painters putty or some sort of filler of choice to cover up the holes made by the brad nails, but honestly I felt like this was some pretty good work and if you put in all that effort into everything else, I feel like you probably did go back and fill in those holes left by the brad nails

When you need to join two pieces together on a straight wall I would do 22.5 degrees brother

Coping Looks good but no beveled cuts??? The joints would last sooo much longer

My only thing is I wouldn’t use small bits of trim to finish a run unless it’s hidden behind a door. I always try to go halfway on each piece to meet in the middle

I like the look when you use baseboard on the ceiling as well. Looks good.

FYI. A 15 degree cut works better on butt joints.

Bro just 45 your corners, coping is unnecessary. You get the same look with 45s plus theres more surface area to glue. When you cop you back cut which means its barely touching, if you 45 you get the whole surface to contact.

Project manager here. 300+ homes since 2018. You missed a step that always gives away if it was DIY. Gotta snap lines or run lasers esp on the longer walls. Any slight variation will stick out like dogs ball ms when home owner hangs their tv there or pictures etc. ALWAYS check you’re level FIRST.

Great job! Nobody copes any longer but it’s the way I was taught, looks great especially with corners that aren’t exactly square.
