I recently visited Chao Feng on the Bund, a restaurant located inside a beautiful historic Art Deco building. I recommend coming here for dinner, when you can enjoy both the atmosphere of the Bund and a traditional Teochew meal. We tried their signature crab claw shrimp dumplings, liquor-soaked crab, and the beautiful Taiji dessert made with black sesame and almond paste. Other signature dishes worth trying include the sea intestine rice bowl (海肠捞饭) and the chef’s special aromatic pork (主厨秘制飘香肉).
