@cortechnology: A DIY smart mirror is one of the coolest Raspberry Pi projects you can build because it combines hardware, Linux, programming, and electronics into one project. With MagicMirror², you can display the time, weather, calendar, news, reminders, and other useful widgets right on your mirror. It’s a project that’s easy to customize, whether you want a clean minimalist dashboard or something packed with information. This build is a great way to gain hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi, Linux, networking, and basic electronics while creating something you’ll actually use every day. It’s also an impressive project to showcase on your GitHub or resume if you’re interested in embedded systems or software engineering. #raspberrypi #embeddedsystems #fyp #viral #technology

I just love how these tutorials always skip over the most difficult part which is building a custom wooden frame and cutting a mirror to fit perfectly flush on a monitor

Does anyone else get super excited just by the idea of making things like these even if you're not super techy? A couple of years ago I ripped the screen off of an old laptop got some wood made a bulky frame😅added a tv board and made it into a little screen tv and then made an even bulkier stand for it. Couldn't be prouder of myself😅😂😂

You can do this a little cheaper with mirror film, a glass picture frame and a computer monitor- but the mirror quality suffers !
