I feel like people underestimate how hard this can be when healing from a c-section. The baby often digs their knees or feet near the incision and/or it’s just hard to hold them in the right position overall. Any pointers? ☺️

My newborn legit crawled up and latched on. Lactation came in to check and were like “looks great👍🏻, let us know if you need anything” I was like well at least one of us knows what they are doing 😅

Wow I’ve watched so many nursing position videos and have tried this one so many times but I have larger breasts so I always felt like I was smothering my baby. Mini boob hack!! Genius idea gonna try that next feeding 🥰

i want to formula feed, but seriously considering letting her latch and feed for the golden hour, would that do more harm than good for ME in terms of drying up? would one feed like that signal my body to produce?(i know it will produce anyway, but i dont want to give it too much encouragement lol)

My girl hates laying on her side for feeding, started doing almost a sitting up football hold and she is finally latching and actually staying on the breast long enough to get full instead of getting mad and pulling herself off

I don’t know why this made me not ever wanna breast-feed. The educational content is wonderful. I cannot point a single issue with anything she said. And yet…. I feel…. Objectified? Not in like a sexual way. Just like…. my nipple isn’t a target, and I’m not a product to be consumed. Maybe it was the tone? Not in like a tone policing way, just in like a very clinical way. This is how I would talk about pork production, or cow milk, or the nitrogen content in the soil of my potato farm. This is generally not how I would talk about myself or human people. Very upsetting and offputting. Everything about it made me think “cool. Formula and only formula, dry up that milk as fast as possible. It is now my job to be a goalie that keeps the baby away from my nipple at all costs.”
