for any altos saying they can sing this song it’s bc many altos can sing in soprano range, and many sopranos can sing in alto range, you’re just deemed an alto or a soprano based on where your natural singing voice kind of sits, so you may be either with just a wide range of notes but higher or lower notes may be more comfortable for you if that makes sense
