I don’t think we should be using misinformation to scare ppl from LASIK but the complications can be SO bad that I just don’t think it’s worth the risk- I have dry eye not even from LASIK but it’s so hard to manage and I think there needs to be more education out there on how devastating the complications can truly be

It was life changing for me. One of the best things I did however as my oldest talks about eventually wanting Lasik I get terrified and don’t want him to do it. I can’t explain the fear considering I had such a great outcome.

I do not like lasik at all. now I am not a doctor but I was a COT for an ophthalmologist who was also a cornea specialist and he wouldn't recommend lasik to patients or refer then for it. if they asked he would simply tell them if they are a good candidate or not and tell them the choice is completely theirs but that he wasnt will to discuss anything further than telling them if they are a candidate or not
