if hes absent, than change the names. I changed my kids names and its the best thing ever. I got them used to it during the name change process. they were 10, 8 and 6

offering a different perspective, change the spelling of it to Dru or Drue so there's a little bit of separation. you could even change it to Drusilla so "Willow Drew/Dru/Drue" could still be used as a quick shout and her name doesn't change in that regard. Willow Drusilla still sounds lovely.

It’s actually not hard at all. You file to change their names and the courts change them. It’s very easy. Middle names, last names, any names.

so I had a syrus Shane hansen and sterling ray hansen I now have a syrus Ezekiel Mak and sterling ray mak the courts made it easy and my oldest picked his middle name out and they dokt even remember their old names its been a year now they are almost 4 and 5

I changed my kids last names and mine for free because we’re low income! I’m still married but I went back to my maiden and my kids are hyphenated. It’s a super easy process if you Decide to do it.

I don't think you have to rush this decision. I think its okay to give it time, they know their names...they dont know the "story" & its okay to explain to them later WHY they have those names, why you decided to / or not to change it. etc.

Me personally I would change the last names but drew can become her own name! It doesn’t have to be her dad’s name given to her! Willow has such a beautiful and bright soul just like drew barrymore! Start mentally tying her middle name to better people and it will eventually just be hers! I’m so sorry you have to go through this. Anyone who actually cares about y’all knows that you will make the choice that makes the most sense for y’all!

Instead of changing the middle name just change the spelling so it’s not just after him so instead of Drew it could be Drue

You can change any portion of their names, IF you choose to. Even Willows middle name, even if you’d like to just change the middle name. Support always, mama. 🫶

Her Name is who she is it doesn’t have to be about who he is 🫶🏻 if you feel like you want to change her middle name fair enough but try not to put to much pressure on yourself over it , Last names are a much easier fix
