My older brother passed 12 years ago yesterday. The night before I graduated college this past May I sobbed my eyes out to this song. I wanted him to be there. It sucks to be reaching so many milestones and not have them here with us. I am sending you so much love and he’ll be there with you ♥️

I’m so sorry. I lost my mom when I was five years old and I had no idea how I would feel on my wedding day without her. My siblings together lit the unity candle for the Mom side. And my daddy kept a yellow rose in his hand for my mom. We honored her the best we could that day.

from lived experience, enjoy every single second, don’t feel guilty if you don’t feel sad on the day of and if you do that’s ok too, I lost my dad at 15 so I always knew he would never be there BUT had the best wedding, two later I sobbed all day and felt every feeling. its so bittersweet to exist in two realities. sending you so much love 🤍
