Girl when I was little I would wear pants even in 100 degree weather because I was embarrassed of my braces but as 38 year old women idc anymore I wear my braces with shorts skirts and dresses idc dnt let anything stop you you’re beautiful

I know what you mean, I have scares on my chest from several heart surgeries including a heart transplant and I never take my shirt off, even at the water park. It’s more like I don’t want to embarrass my daughters. I’d like to work on that though.

I haven’t worn braces in years because it becomes complicated with clothes and shoes. I do well without them. I definitely understand where you’re coming from. In time you will be more comfortable with your body.

My mom has a prosthetic and she would take us the beach and wear shorts, she is going to be 70 and she is embracing her prosthetic still, wears dresses, skirts, and shorts.
