Like Olathe. Is it pronounced Olatha or Oleth. I can’t tell and Kansas pronounces it the opposite as Colorado. Don’t get me started on Ouray.

Because there is no “S” at the end of Galapago Street. The name derives from the old Spanish word galápago, meaning "tortoise". So in reality, we should just say Tortoise Street 😂

You’ll hear all kinds pronunciations for various words. Westminster is either West Minister or West Min Stir. Yosemite is either Yo Zeh Mite or Yo Sem It Tee.

at work talking on the phone I pronounced Aurora like you do in Spanish and the person didn't understand me so I had to switch to the English pronunciation.... it hurt my heart. Also Limon...... Limon?!?! i love it here 😂😂

I grew up saying it differently for the street, but I will say it correctly for the islands, lol. I don’t know why but that’s the way it is, at least for this Denver native, ha ha ha.
