@jeremy.r.ostler: Dysfunctional systems put the truth-teller on trial. That’s the part most people miss. When someone finally names the pattern, the system rarely says, “Thank you for exposing this.” It says, “How dare you…” And then it sets out to make that person look difficult, unstable, divisive, or dangerous. Because if the system can make the witness the problem, it doesn’t have to answer the testimony. So watch the shift. Are people addressing the evidence? Or are they attacking the person who named it? Because sometimes the person being blamed is not actually the problem. Sometimes they’re the first credible witness. Follow to guess less and lead more.
