Yah, this is healthier. Because tbh, everyone loves differently and everyone wants to be loved differently. How would he know if you won’t say anything right? We used to love each other in ways that we thought was good for each other and we realized that we didn’t feel as loved so we started asking each other how we wanted to be loved and adjusted accordingly and we’ve been way happier ever since. As much as someone tries to say “he should observe everything about me and learn” nah there are some things that can’t be learned through observation, it sometimes has to be taught or told. I tell my bf what I want and he does it all, and he somehow feels like he’s accomplished everything in the world. You have to tell them what you want, they prefer that.

but if matagal na kayo and still kept asking about a thing about what you likes and dislikes when you could guess all of his traits was the result of him not even doing an effort to know you deeply and will just depends on what you will say about what you want everytime.. but i hope not, but sometimes a surprise will be exciting if he knows what flower to get you, what place to take you and what gestures will make you feel that he loves and knows you so much.. that is why there is a quote, "to be loved is to be known" so yeah, that's just the ugly reality of this, i just hope that the teaching (of each other's basic traits) will only occur in the beginning of the relationship, not in the entire relationship..
