Seats are designed to recline. If everyone reclined to the position they paid for, everyone would have the same amount of space. The problem isn’t the recline—it’s the expectation that the person in front of you shouldn’t use a feature they paid for.

so now eating is a problem? especially with flights getting delayed or canceled or all these other problems. you schedule it so there's like a 3-hour difference between your flights and then your other flight is late you don't have it any time to grab any food it's better to have food and bring it with you especially for people with diabetes or medical conditions where they have to eat. leave them alone
