that's crazy how it affects different ppl. Xanax NEVER made me feel good like that. it only did it's job & make me sleepy. took them DAILY for YEARS & just stopped, with no prob

I had a small prescription prescribed to me after my cancer diagnosis because my panic attacks were bad. It was the most unbothered I had ever been in my life. I asked if I could get more but thankfully my doctor didn’t allow it. I seen first hand how addicting it could be. Not even from a hi but from the peace it brings your mind.

My mother was given this years ago for her anxiety and got addicted…my sister and I made her go cold turkey which was hella for about 2 weeks back in January and has been clean about six months now ❤️

To be fair with the doctor, not being a licensed psychiatrist or therapist the doctor may not have known how addictive it was at that time either

she’s a big part of the problem herself & a big reason why people cannot access the medications that they need. i suffer from panic attacks but it’s impossible to get prescribed xanax to help with them because of people abusing them.

I experienced this and got a dwi from it! But my doctor wrote a rx the next day for the same thing! Lesson learned and no longer suffer from anxiety! The hard work was worth not using it anymore!

My son was prescribed it at 15 and became an addict. Hes been to 2 rehabs and is doing better but has relapsed a few times. Worst decision I ever made.Hes now 22.
