I went there like 50 years ago when there were certain sections in which swimming was allowed! I was just a kid with my family on summer vacation, but do remember how beautiful it was — and VERY slippery! NY State has so many extraordinarily stunning spots to soak in. Imagine the Seneca natives who lived there centuries ago when it belonged to them. So much beauty and abundance they had which we robbed from them.
