I feel this in my soul. I almost did “it” a few times when I was younger, I truly never believed I would live past 30, I knew in my heart and soul I would die at 30. Then I hit 30 and kept going. I got kids to live for, but fuck do I hate it here most days. Just gotta keep plucking. I’m living for the plot now, my soul just needs to see how the life plays out and I need to make sure they turn out healthier than me. I wish you the best. We may not be “okay”, but I believe we will make it.

It doesn’t help when you have people in your life that make you feel bad because you’re not as interested in things like traveling or working up some corporate ladder. Is it so wrong to just want a nice home to yourself and be ok with living/coming from a small town? Im tired of pretending I want more than I actually do. I felt like I was in survival mode for such a big chunk of my life that I just want a cozy quiet home and decent social life

At this point, I’m just finding more things just to do as a distraction. I got no real interest no real goals I’m just doing something to tell my therapist that I’m at least still doing something really I got nothing I actually want from this world

i remember when i told a therapist all the things and he was like "... um... yeah... that really really, really really sucks, and you already seem really in-tune with your emotions and are really self aware so there's not a whole lot i can tell you that you don't already know. you already touched on pretty much everything i can suggest and and have a solid plan and set a managing skills, you just need more support from others in your life cause you really can't do it alone and i can't help you with that part. but you survived this far! is there anything else you wanna talk about?" like, gee thanks, way to tell me the reason i'm not getting better from how fucked up i am is cause a majority of the people in my personal life aren't helping me enough.
