Excuse me...I cannot possibly understand...your dog was a GREAT Pyranese?! The Gentle Giants of the canine universe?!...Not diminishing your pain...Sorry for the trauma you're going thru...BUT...majority of us are animal lovers & with all due respect, we need to know the details of WHAT HAPPENED?! This is NOT normal...help us understand so this NEVER happens to anyone else & no other pet needs to be put down needlessly. sorry for your loss, he looks like a beautiful dog. I hope you get well soon.

My cocker bit me in the face a few years back. Tore my upper lip off and I had plastic surgery. He is still around. It's not his fault. It's mine. People handle dog attacks in different ways. Hope you heal from this.

People don't understand how traumatizing this is. I wasn't attacked by just mine, but trying to break up a fight between my two girls. I can't hear a dogfight without a full-blown panic attack. It sounds odd, but I think the scars show character. I'm sorry to say my nerve damage never healed. I feel very lucky it was only my non-dominate hand, and I kept my fingers. Our dogs are now separated, but only because they attacked each other, and not a person. I wish you continued healing 🙏 ❤️

I've been attacked a couple of times and never in thought about putting my dog down. I have 7 🐕. My son had surgery and never ever mentioned putting down . I'm sorry Scott this had happened 😢 😔 😞 😕 .
