@kenny_dyal: It seems there might be an even better way to equalize our ears. Kirk Krack is no joke 🤯🤿🙌 #freediving #scubadiving #howto #scubatiktok #scubadivingwithkenny

Unfortunately none, and I repeat NONE of these people ever explained properly how to do frenzel technique, expecting everyone will know it that easily.

OMG. I always equalized my ears this way and never understood why people had problems. Frenzel is so easy and way better. I just tried the other way and it is not intuitive or works as well.

I'll stick to my usual method of voluntary control of my Tensor Tympani muscle.

Is this not how everyone equalises? You’re telling me people fully breathe into their nose? You can do frenzel without even holding you your nose as well

I've been scuba diving for 20 years. I equalize without holding the nose, just by clenching the same muscles used for swallowing, but without swallowing. Hard to explain.

I didn’t know there was people that used their respiratory muscles to equalize, I’ve only used this technique but you have to be careful because you can force too much air into your ears when you’re too deep and it make them hurt. (as in should’ve equalized sooner and should ascend slightly before forcefully equalizing).

Anyone else able to just automatically equalize the pressure in their ears without needing to touch their face like all I need to do is a sharp inhale through my nose, sort of quickly scrunching my face in the process and done
