Yikes I’m so disappointed in these comments- just because someone is an ambulatory wheelchair user doesn’t mean that the staff and facilities can get away with neglecting the upkeep of essential equipment like this. Stuff like this happens all the time and disabled people are constantly told that it’s “not a big deal” and to “get over it” when our access needs aren’t met.

i am sorry, but putting them through so much hassle instead of asking you to help you up the stairs as you could walk... it's just wrong. Yes the lift didn't work in the first place, but.. yeah idk man.

the comments are so so ignorant. if someone would be in pain or suffer for the rest of the week because of walking up a flight of stairs, i would do my most to avoid them having to do that as much as possible BEFORE they’d have to. she shouldn’t have “just walked the first time” the lift shouldve been fixed. it should have been accessible.
