@knightfamilycontent: the hardest part of raising an independent toddler isn’t teaching them new skills… it’s slowing ourselves down enough to let them try. it’s so tempting to jump in because it’s faster, easier, and less messy. but every time we give them the space to practice, we’re telling them, “i believe you can do this.” independence isn’t built overnight. it’s built in the extra minute it takes them to put on their shoes, pour their own water, or clean up a spill. sometimes the best thing we can do is step back. 🤍 what’s one thing your toddler insists on doing by themselves? #montessoritoddler #montessorimom
