Ahhh it’s not that bad it’s a defined line not sure why your going back and fourth if your on 90/94 heading east but we live east coast Indiana and when we plan travel

I did this as a kid. we lived in Alabama (central) but my mom drove a bus in Georgia (eastern). We translated the time for the 3 years we lived there. need to be there at 8, which is 7 our time. well, it's 4 here, but it's 5 there, and it takes an hour to get there, so we have to leave by 6 our time to get there by 8. we went to church in Alabama so that was central time.

Ha ha growing up there was a town not far from me in two different time zones. Literally the half court line at the school gym separated the two.

I worked for a company that I traveled coast tk coast. Would fly out 5am and home 5pm but it’s EXHAUSTING going back 4 hours to come back and it’s been 8 but really only 4 😭

we played in crown point last weekend and lived close enough we didn't need hotels but really had trouble with that i would leave early and still be late when we where gaining an hour but you dont have your phone switch ever

As long as I can remember, the joke has been, “What time is it in Indiana?” Grew up in SW MI when Indiana didn’t follow DST; now live in central IN along the IL state line. On an unrelated note, saw your shirt and now I want ice cream.

I lived in bullhead city, AZ, which borders Laughlin, NV, and Arizona does not switch time zones so when I worked 3-11 in NV, I worked 4-12 in AZ, and we always made sure we had like a stove clock to confirm the time because sometimes my phone would switch time zones. it was so annoying. I did eventually figure out how to turn off the automatic time zone switch on my phone because it was ridiculous and I just went by the time zone I Iived in. now THAT BEING SAID sometimes AZ and NV are sometimes on the same time, so i only had to change things from fall to spring. thanks for reminding me how much I hated that shit. 😂

We would play in California about an hour and 15 minutes away and one of the other moms would always ask me so what time do we need to leave I always tell her you basically time it like it only takes you 15 minutes to get there.

My mom’s cabin in Northern Alabama is directly south of GR but in central time zone, so the sun goes down an hour earlier. We’ll go to dinner somewhere in the eastern time zone bc it’s like 10 mins away. I will tell you even just vacationing there is VERY confusing.

Lived in a area where on side didn't change for daylight savings time. Definitely caused occasional issues of you forgot to plan around it.

I live in central time in AL, I work in eastern time still in AL but right on the border to GA so they chose to use Eastern. My kids school is central. I force my phone to stay in eastern and every conversation about time explicitly states which time zone. For my wife’s birthday I ordered food for pickup from a restaurant and forgot to switch and showed up an hour early. Had to ask them to put it in now and wait 15-20 min and was late bringing it back. You get used to it, but it’s not fun

As a baseball mom, the worst is having an 8 am est game when living in central. 8 am =7 am my time, have to be there at 6 am, leave by 5, be up by 4! Lol
