@rachel.obrien05: Time flies, flowers die, new days, new ways, pass by. Love stays. . These words by Charles Paget Wade who lived at Snowshill Manor from 1919 to 1956. This is one of my favorite National Trust properties to visit, and somewhere I’d quite happily move into tomorrow. However,I’d need to clear a little bit of space first as the house is completely full of his wonderfully eccentric collections! . Wade dedicated his life to a singular mission: ‘Let nothing perish’. He transformed this ancient Cotswold home into a sanctuary to preserve the craftsmanship of the past. Walking through these high-summer wildflower gardens today, his dedication to saving fleeting beauty feels like a very real act of love. . . #cotswolds #snowshill #englishcountryside #nationaltrust #wildflowers
