@tilscience: The research team excavating the Rising Star Cave system in South Africa just discovered that the 20 skeletons they found are all female. Zero males. The probability of that happening by random chance: 0.0000954 percent. Now the field is sitting with a genuinely strange question: for Homo naledi to have existed at all, there had to be males.
