Imagine it’s been decades since the battle of bywater, and the gamgees and tooks and brandybuck clans all gather for one last time as an old hobbit hobbles up in his rohirrim uniform and blows the horn, but it’s a melancholy sound. Only he and one or two hobbits know what it means.
