I'm the white half of a mixed race couple who plans on having kids, besides the generic work every parent of a pic child should do, and talking to my extremely intelligent partner (who has expressed not really experiencing this), do you think there is something a (white) parent could do that might help give them the tools to better unwrap, or grapple with this? whether it's books, or whatever?

It’s not just MBTI whenever I see a fandom edit think the Athena cabin and then it shows a bunch of fictional characters the posters thinks would be in the cabin. It’s usually exclusively white characters.

It’s extremely worth noting that those around developing the Meyers-Briggs test have a deep history in Nazi sympathizing, essentially no history in science, and its popularizer, Mary McCaulley, first used personality tests as a way to try and prove a mental difference between white and Black ppl in the 50s. So the history of the tests completely backs up your modern perception. (You could already know all this ik, but a good book that taught me it is “The Personality Brokers” by Merve Emre)
