I didn't grow up eating seafood, so fish that's especially oily or "fishy" is off-putting to my palate. I've tried training my palate, but it is very slow going. I now usually like salmon, but the oils in the skin and the fat layer between that and the filet are still too much for me, so this definitely seems interesting.
