I learn through music and think in music. I'm audhd and I think in lyrics. nearly every phrase I hear triggers a song lyric and very often I sing them out loud. weird, niche songs sometimes. 😂

"My ACCESS to it does." Yep, people with ADHD often KNOW the tools we need to use, but they are cased in ballistic gel and we can't see a CLEAR path to them.

Like how I can suddenly do 5 house related tasks in an hour if I know power is going out but they normally take 3 business days and multiple naps.

my gf asked if I had a paperclip, I told her I had one paperclip, it was downstairs in the junk drawer in the kitchen, towards the back, in a clear case full of clear push pins. there is one blue paperclip in there. She said no way, we both went down and it was right where I said it was. Also, if i do not immediately hang my keys on the key hook when I get home, I wind up losing 'em 😅😂

The only way I found myself getting anything done was if I rewarded myself with a cigarette. But I quit smoking so then it became a glass of wine. But that became a problem. Now I’m at square one

I can remember key conversations from years ago word for word- but every day conversations… I can forget what we were just talking about mid way through 😅

My English teacher asked me why I can remember every lyric to every song I’ve ever listened to but can’t remember “and I’m just like what you’re the teacher why are you asking me? If I knew I would’ve worked it out, but I don’t know so I all I know is lyrics that’s it. 😂😂😂
