Having worked in events, if you can confidently walk in and head straight to the room you’re looking for, if anyone asks, you’re “loading in” or “doing a site visit”. Asking about access, loading bay, power (any 63amp available?), hanging/lifting points for truss, where back of house is etc they’re all the sort of things which confirm you’re supposed to just be wandering round
