totally agree with Jimmy here. I've had anxity and panic attacks all my life and im best when im keeping busy with work and tasks etc. but dont forget to still deal with the core issue of your anxiety and panic or depression weather it be medication, therapy or both. also having a good support network is a massive help. also, dont be afraid to talk about mental health there’s no need to feel guilty or be ashamed of it. and do t forget.... its not your fault,there will be hard times andnit might seem like its never going to end but it will and you will get through it and youll be a better version of yourself because of it

Until you get burned out ... I thought he had some therapy which would have taught him doing less and learning to reduce attention to worries is the answer and not overloading your busy brain more ...

Find your own path for sure. Remember that his job is performing and appearances. He may need more to do to distract his brain properly. I have anxiety because I have too much to do everyday. I find peace in sitting on the porch with a bourbon and a cigarette (delicious but not recommended for long term use).

giving yourself more to do is a distraction, its kind of avoidance and it prevents you from enjoying life happening now. you want to slow life down, not speed it up. it is easier to distract than slow down and face what you are avoiding.
