A lot of the original fans leave hateful comments too. I think some of them dislike it because Jennie performed the song, it did well on Billboard, and it became more widely known through her. Maybe it hurts their pride. BTS fans also still harass Jennie because of the dating rumors with V. Even some fans of her own group try to tear her down out of jealousy and envy. They look for the smallest flaw. If she performs well, they flood the comments with "lip-sync." If she has an off day, they flood the comments saying she can't sing or perform. As soon as one person posts something negative, they all rush in and pile on. Being a celebrity really is a tough job.
