@thesameerproject: How does a father carry the weight of protecting his children when he cannot protect them from bombs, shellings, shootings…genocide? How does he look at the scars covering his baby daughter's body and keep going? He keeps going because she still needs him. His other children still need him. There is no time to stop, no time to grieve, no choice but to wake up every day and continue fighting for their survival. This is Fadi's reality. Like so many parents in Gaza, he lives with the pain of seeing his children injured while doing everything in his power to keep them alive. The strength these mothers and fathers show is not because they are unbreakable. It is because love leaves them no other choice. On June 27, The Sameer Project delivered diapers and infant formula to families living in Al-Ekhwa Camp, helping parents like Fadi provide the most basic necessities for their babies. Forty packs of diapers, along with France Lait and Lacto infant formula, reached displaced families. The total cost of this distribution was $779 after 11% bank commission. Every donation helps us provide the essentials that keep children alive and gives families one less impossible burden to carry. Please give to our General Fund to assist.
