@wonderfoley6: I know for a fact I am not the only person who has noticed the crazy girl to therapist pipeline. This is a known phenomenon and has been for years. Doubt me? Just ask anyone about their experience with "psychologist's kids." More predictative than being a "Pastor's Daughter". Don't get me wrong, I think therapy is great. It can be very useful. But also understand the therapist / patient relationship implies an authority and gravity that should at the VERY least be questioned. If somethng doesn't quite sit right, it's good to be hesitant. My favorite thing is when therapists tell you about all the insane people in their training programs, while noting that *of course* they are the exception.
