@andrewscott_art: 24 Hour Timed Edition (ends July 8 at 10 am ET): “The Axe” is my latest collaboration with @stowegallery It follows a similar thematic to “Escape” and “Smash”—self portraits of myself escaping from the frame. My first ever frame experiment was around 2021. It featured a sketch of myself throwing a brick at the glass, which I then broken with a center punch. At the time, I couldn’t recognize that this idea was an artistic manifestation of my subconscious. I felt trapped in a life I didn’t want to be in. My work has evolved over the years, exploring nostalgia and childhood in a more playful way. But sometimes, I like to revisit this notion of breaking free. #contemporaryart #limitededitionprints #creativity
