I used gorilla putty in the dorms for twos and it never left a mark or residue!! Also never had anything fall down.

I used poster puffy (I used this one but any will do) and glue dots for the most part. For tapestries I got clips that are sticky on the back. Everyone other than the tapestries stayed up all year just fine.

I wasn't allowed to use wall putty at the dorms when I was in college... I used this stuff anyways and it never failed me. The RAs never knew
