Believe it or not, that’s a horrible location for the RPZ, sticks out like a diamond in a goats ass. Isolation valve should have been in the ground, 12” minimum from finished grade to the “relief port”…. Should have been prepped at installation (rebar and insulation). Is there a master valve installed??

You didn’t think to let them know that they need an isolation valve in the ground instead of above ground that way they can properly winterize the backflow to keep it from freezing?
